When it comes to holiday spirit, which state is the most festive? A company called GetCenturyLink used various metrics to rank the U.S. and find out who's more Buddy the Elf and who's more of a Grinch?
They factored in Google searches for Christmas movies, gingerbread houses, online shopping for wrapping paper, ornaments, holiday cards, streaming Christmas music, seasonal Tweets, number of tree farms, and charitable donations.
According to Local10, an ABC television affiliate in Fort Lauderdale, the top three states in 2020 were Utah, Idaho, and Wisconsin. Florida was dead last at #50, and Texas is #41.
