An investigation is ongoing after a man died following a shooting at an apartment complex in Gaffney, earlier this week. The Gaffney Police Department responded to a reported shooting at the Limestone Court Apartments, Tuesday.
Upon arrival, a man was found on scene suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to Spartanburg Regional Hospital and died there the following day. The Cherokee County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as 23 year old, Robert Victor Dillard III of Spartanburg.
No arrests have been announced and no suspects have named publicly, as of the time of this report.
