At least four Louisville, Kentucky, residents must wear ankle monitors because they've been exposed to coronavirus but refuse to stay home, according to CNN. One person, called D.L. in a court order, is living with someone who is positive for the virus and another who is assumed to have it. Family members report that D.L. "leaves the house often." D.L. failed to respond to county health department messages and was ordered to wear a GPS device for two weeks. Should D.L. leave the house once more, they could be criminally charged. Two other people were ordered to stay in their home because both refused isolation even though one is positive for the virus. Another man was put under house arrest because he went shopping despite his positive diagnosis. Kentucky has a COVID-19 reporting hotline (833-KY SAFER, or 833-597-2337) for non-compliance complaints. Residents can also go to kysafer.ky.gov to make online complaints.
