To quote the nurse coordinator handling this case, "the road to organ donation can be long and winding."
I received some encouraging news from the organ donation committee at UW Health who looked at my test results! It's the first round of approval so this news is preliminary - but exciting nonetheless as I continue this process to see if I'm a kidney match for my mother in-law.
