The first round of artists slated to perform at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards have been announced. Taking the stage are superstars Demi Lovato, Karol G, Måneskin and the K-pop group Stray Kids

Demi, who set to release her new album REVAMPED, featuring rock versions of her hit songs, just a few days after on September 15, is up for two awards at this year’s ceremony for Best Pop and Video for Good, both for “Swine.”

Set to bring Bichota Season to life on the VMAs stage for her first-ever appearance on MTV’s iconic stage. Karol G has also secured herself three 2023 nominations at the VMAs including, Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration and Best Latin for “TQG.”

Once again nominated in the Best Rock category, after Måneskin’s electric debut last year, the Italian rock group will be making their return to the stage for the world premiere performance of their forthcoming new single “HONEY (ARE YOU COMING?),” releasing September 1.

For their first-ever VMAs performance Stray Kids will premiere “S-CLASS,” off their latest record-breaking #1 album 5-STAR. The group also competes to take home their first MTV Moon Person for Best K-Pop.

The MTV Video Music Awards will be held on Tuesday, September 12 at 8PM ET / PT live from the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
