Gifford co-hosted “Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee” for 12 years with Regis Philbin and then moved on to another morning hosting gig with Hoda Kotb. She was also married to former NFL player Frank Gifford for 30 years, until his passing in 2015.

Now she tells People there is someone else in her life, but she’s keeping her lips zipped.

“I have someone very special in my life,” she told the publication. “I’ve discovered that by not talking about it, it stays special."

Gifford expounded on her life that’s on the outside of the public eye these days, as she lives in Nashville closer to family.

“I’ve found personal happiness here, is the best way to say it,” she said.

Gifford also ties that happiness of hers, and that of her family, back to her religious beliefs.

“God is the God of family and the God of marriage and the God of relationships, and when we put him first in them, it’s miraculous the blessings that flow,” she said.

Gifford today released a book titled “The God of the Way,” which she co-wrote with Rabbi Jason Somel. Following the book’s release is a new film, “The Way,” which contains “moving stories from the Bible brought to life.” Gifford narrated the movie.

“The Way” arrives in theaters September 1.
