Piers Morgan is still laying into Meghan Markle.
The British media personality directed some more bold remarks at the former royal and her husband Prince Harry in a new interview — his first since walking off and soon quitting as co-presenter of English talk show “Good Morning Britain.”
Morgan appeared on Fox Nation’s “Tucker Carlson Today” on Monday to share his strong sentiments.
"I still don’t believe what they were saying, in particular I don’t believe what Meghan Markle said," Morgan said to Tucker Carlson, per Fox News. Morgan was referring to an explosive tell-all interview the former royals had with Oprah in March.
Morgan claimed “I was under attack from Ms. Markle,” according to The Washington Post.
“I should be able to be a journalist and question those statements,” he added.
In March’s Oprah interview, Markle and Harry made bombshell claims about their experience with the royal family, including that Markle was “suicidal” but discouraged by the palace from seeking help, that Kate Middle made her cry, and that Prince Charles stopped taking his son Harry’s calls.
Morgan quit his role at “Good Morning Britain” after walking off the set following a tense criticism from his co-host Alex Berenson, who called Morgan “absolutely diabolical.”
While the Carlson interview was his first since the debacle, has remained vocal and combative about Markle on social media, asking “Do we still have to believe her?” in late March, and calling her “disingenuous” and “self-serving” one week later.
