“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes’ husband Gregg Leakes has died. He was 66.
According to the reality star’s publicist, Gregg died from colon cancer at his home on Wednesday, reported People.

“Today the Leakes family is in deep pain with a broken heart. After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones and wife Nene Leakes,” the rep said in a statement.
“We ask that you pray for peace and strength over their family & allow them to mourn in private during this very very difficult time.”
Gregg, who was diagnosed with Stage III colon cancer in 2018, but had been in remission. In June, Nene disclosed the cancer had returned and Gregg had undergone surgery.
NeNe and Gregg married in 1997 and divorced in 2011. Two years later, the couple remarried. They share a 22-year-old son, Brentt Leakes.
On Monday, she took to Instagram to share an image of the word “Broken” and included the prayer and heartbroken emojis.
