The official cause of death for beloved television actress Suzanne Somers has been released.
Somers died Oct. 15 when breast cancer spread throughout her body, according to the death certificate seen by The Blast.
The document reportedly stated, “breast cancer with metastasis to the brain” as the immediate cause. There was a biopsy to confirm.
There was no autopsy, but the certificate reportedly also listed hypertension and hydrocephalus as underlying causes leading to the “Three’s Company” star’s death.
Somers was buried at Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City, CA.
The actress battled breast cancer for more than 23 years, according to a PEOPLE report.
Somers was most well known for her starring roles in sitcoms “Three’s Company” and “Step by Step.”
