The Season 5 finale of The Masked Singer left Black Swan, Chameleon and Piglet standing to see who would take home the Golden Mask. Spoiler alert: it was Piglet, but you’ll never guess who was behind the mask.

If you've been paying attention, then you might have a hint or two, but the Season 5 winner is none other than Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees. Lachey shared his winning moment on Instagram saying, "this little piggy brought it all the way home!!" Lachey joined the Season 5 crew only a few days before everything began and in case you're wondering why he chose the adorable Piglet costume, you have his oldest son, Camden to thank.
Lachey tells Variety, "I really tried to approach it in a way to say, ‘hey, have some fun and try some different things. Maybe they’ll work, maybe they don’t. But at the very least they’ll be memorable. That was kind of my mentality with this whole thing. Leave it all out there and go for it. Why be cautious, you’re in a pig costume!"
On wearing the costume, he explained, "you don’t go into it thinking it’s going to be a cakewalk but I didn’t really appreciate how heavy the costume would be. How much it kind of weighs on you. Especially in the beginning, I was having a really tough time catching my breath in there. They had an ice vest on to keep me cool because it was super hot in there, as you can imagine." The ice vest did become restricting and he opted to be hot than unable to breathe. Yet, with performances like his, you would've never guessed it.
In second place, we have JoJo as the Black Swan (we feel she was the true winner) and Wiz Khalifa as Chameleon, who also happens to be the first contestant to rap the entire competition. JoJo surprisingly expressed, "...every time I made it to a new round, I was SURE it would be my last. I didn’t say yes to this show to win it-saying yes to the show was truly the win I needed." She now feels "invigorated" and " "connected with my gift & my love for music once again."
