SZA’s Lana album, has gone through a couple of iterations and explanations since the musician first announced the project was in the works, what now seems like forever ago. That being said, we’re glad to say, the wait is finally over.

Initially a deluxe edition of SOS, then a stand alone separate album (due to leaks), and now back to being an SOS Deluxe, the ever shifting saga of Lana is just days away from coming to a close.

Announcing the album’s arrival date on Instagram last week, on the two-year anniversary of SOS, SZA revealed Lana SOS Deluxe is set to drop on Friday, December 20.

This week, SZA followed up her announcement by sharing a sneak peak at one of the Deluxe album’s tracks, called “Drive.”

In the clip Ben Stiller, who’s show Severance SZA is absolutely obsessed with, is seen singing along to the new single, while driving on a rainy night.

Back in November, around the time SZA spilled that her new album would arrive before the end of the year, Stiller was a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The late night host presented the actor with screenshots of his social media convo with and SZA about her desperate desire for Severance season 2. Clearly the two kept in touch. SZA even used another clip from the visual to announce the show’s return date — January 17. Which Stiller also previously shared with Fallon during his Tonight Show appearance.

While SZA’s album will be here to bless us before 2025, SZA co-headlining tour with Kendrick Lamar won’t be until Spring. Which is totally fine with us, giving SZA plenty of time to prep the performances of her new tracks before hitting the road. And us plenty of time to learn all the lyrics.

The clock has started, Lana’s arrival is just days away.
