Guitarist G.E. Smith is best known as the bandleader and musical director for "Saturday Night Live" from 1985 - 1995.
He has also shared the stage with Hall & Oates, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger and many other rock legends.
G.E. Smith has just recorded a new album "Stony Hill" with vocalist LeRoy Bell. He talked with Dave O'Brien about the new album, the years he spent on Saturday Night Live (inlcuding his marriage to cast member Gilda Radner) and his early days growing up in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania.
