John Oates, one half of the legendary duo Hall & Oates, has just released a solo album with his side band "John Oates & The Good Road Band - Live In Nashville".
The album features Blues, Bluegrass, Dixieland Jazz, Classic Standards and four original songs.
John talked with Dave O'Brien about the album; his love of "American roots" music and what it is like to be part of the best-selling duo of all time, including setting the record straight on whether or not Hall & Oates actually met in a hail of gunfire and his surprising perspective on being the guy after the "&".
