The Go Go's have just released their first new music in over 20 years, the single "Club Zero". There's also a new Showtime documentary about the band now available on-demand.
Go Go's bass player Kathy Valentine talked with Dave O'Brien about the band's beginnings in the Los Angeles punk scene; their deep connection to bands like The Police and Madness and the fact that The Go Go's are, to this day, the first and only all-female band that wrote their own music and played their own instruments to hit #1 on the Billboard album chart.
