The Doobie Brothers are celebrating their 50th Anniversary this year and are being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame as members of the Class of 2020.
The band has also just released a new box set "Quadio", a quadraphonic remix of four of their classic albums, "Toulouse Street", "The Captain & Me", "What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits" and "Stampede".
Dave O'Brien talked with Pat Simmons of The Doobie Brothers about the unusual circumstances of this year's Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony; about their rescheduled 50th anniversary tour coming to Denver in 2021 and about whether or not the band has resolved their recent legal controversy with comedian Bill Murray.
