Project Sanctuary is a 100% donor-supported, Colorado-based, non-profit organization that serves military and veteran families all around the United States. Their mission is to help at-risk families heal.

Many military and veteran families struggle post-deployment or with transition to civilian life. Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) and Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) can make those transitions even more difficult. Most veterans’ organizations help the individual but not the entire family.

Project Sanctuary provides support through week-long family retreats, intensive therapy, counseling and family-unit team building programs. They also provide resources and follow-up counseling beyond the retreats, all at no cost to the family.

99.5 The Mountain morning host Dave O’Brien broadcast for 12 hours soliciting donations. “It was amazing!” said O’Brien. “The average amount of each caller's donation was nearly $150!”
