Rev. Peyton's Big Damn Band will be in Colorado for four shows this week including in Denver at Globe Hall on Saturday, August 28th. Tickets are available here.
Rev. Peyton's Big Damn Band hails from the backwoods of Indiana and plays what they call "front porch blues", a roots-based mix of blues, country and traditional music.
They have also just released a new album "Dance Songs For Hard Times" inspired by their last year in Covid-19 quarantine isolation.
Dave O'Brien first saw Rev. Peyton's Big Damn Band years ago while living in Indiana and watched them progress from playing local festivals to opening for ZZ Top next month around the country.
Rev. Peyton talked to Dave about the tour, the new music, his friendship with Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top and why the Big Damn Band CD that Dave has owned for 15 years may be worth big money!
