In partnership with his record company Third Man Records, guitarist and singer Jack White is hosting a virtual “Garage Sale” auction, and the items range from music collectibles to rather interesting antiques.

Jack White and his label have partnered with Everything But The House to present their collection, “Third Man Garage Sale: Collection From Third Man Records & Jack White,” and to say the least, the collection is quite extensive. Two guitars are on sale, including his Framus acoustic guitar featured in the music video for “We Are Going to Be Friends” back during the height of The White Stripes.

He’s also selling some… odd things from his collection, such as an inoperative fortune telling machine, his finger cast from a 2003 injury, and a zombie figurine prop. “Do whatever your weird a** wants with this creepy stuff. It's your life,” one of the listings jokes. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to Southwest Detroit’s Clark Park Coalition, so at least it’s going toward a good cause.

Perhaps the item grabbing the most attention is his 2013 Tesla, which White is selling as another final denouncement of Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Though White was once close with Musk, even calling him “the Henry Ford of the 21st century,” the musician has since retracted his support of the entrepreneur following his many scandals with Twitter (or X as they rebranded it this week). He openly spoke against the site’s 2022 reinstatement of Donald Trump’s account, which White called, “absolutely disgusting” and, “officially an a—hole move”. The final straw for the musician, however, was the site's allowance for Donald Trump, yet banning of Kanye West. “Do the right thing Elon,” he wrote in a lengthy Instagram post, “and don't provide other hate mongers a stage, let them go talk in town square.” It makes sense, then, why White may not be keen on keeping his Tesla.

Though once lovingly referred to as “The Green Machine,” White’s Model S Performance Tesla could be considered a piece of music memorabilia as well. The car’s sound system is cited as having a prominent role in the, “mixing of The Raconteurs’ 2019 album ‘Help Us Stranger’ as well as most other music White worked on.” He owned the car for nearly nine years, which is a great span of time for White to listen to his unreleased songs while driving.
