Michael J. Fox announced his departure from acting in 2020, but has now hinted at the possibility of a comeback.

Fox, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991, told Entertainment Tonight what it would take for him to get back in front of the camera.

"I would do acting if something came up that I could put my realities into it, my challenges, if I could figure it out," Fox told ET.

"My goals are always shifting. My biggest goal, I think, was to raise a family. We have four amazing kids, and that's been the big thing," he said, Fox has been married to Tracy Pollan since 1988. "And then the other is with the work we've done with the foundation [Michael J. Fox Foundation] and wanting to achieve those goals."

Fox also said any role would have to be enjoyable to him, like his recent AppleTV+ documentary "Still," about his life with Parkinson's.

"If someone offers me a part and I do it and I have a good time, great," he said. "I mean, the documentary was a big thrill."
