Country Club Plaza Celebrates 100 Years!

Centennial Celebration Week

The Centennial Celebration is nearly a year in the making, following other special events like the Plaza’s Centennial Grant Program which gifted a total of $100,000 to four local nonprofit organizations. The Centennial Celebration is open to the public, free to attend and will take place rain or shine. Centennial Celebration

WHEN: Saturday, June 3, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

WHAT: Celebrate 100 years of business and community with a celebratory event on the Plaza. The event will feature live music, centennial food and beverages, photo booths, live painting and more fun for everyone to enjoy. Click here to learn more.

Central Parking Lot

- Centennial-themed food and drinks, including alcohol, will be available for purchase from The Classic Cup Café.

- The main stage will feature performances from J Love Band, Brass Rewind and Surfin’ USA – A Beach Boys Tribute.

- Photo booths will be set up to capture memories for guests, including pictures with the 100th anniversary mural from local artist, Jenny Meyer-McCall. Jenny will be in attendance to speak about her new piece and will be working on an interactive 'community art project’ that children and adults can contribute to throughout the day.

- Free Topsy’s popcorn with a Country Club Plaza Centennial color-changing commemorative cup, while supplies last.

- Kid-friendly activities will take place throughout the day, including face painting, balloon art, a caricature artists and photo opportunities with the iconic Plaza bunnies.

- Giveaways, including 100th anniversary swag like Centennial Country Club Plaza tote bags while supplies last, will take place throughout the day.

- On-site contest with 99.7 The Point and a chance to win a pair of suite tickets to see Taylor Swift at Arrowhead Stadium. Details can be found HERE.

Live performances will feature Blacksher Music and Cantaloupe City.

Penguin Courtyard

Live performances will feature Nicki White and The Nite Owls.
