Matt Gapske

Hey, what’s going on? I’m Matt Gapske, and I’m working with you each day from 10am-3pm on 99.7 The Point!

 KC is my hometown, and I love it here! I spent my formative years in Lenexa, but have lived all around the Kansas side. I got my start in radio right here in this building, and was on the original 99.7 The Point team back in 2011. Radio took my family across the country on a fantastic adventure, but it’s amazing to be back right here where it all began.

 I love being a husband and father, and you’ll hear my wife Danielle and my kids Benjamin and Hannah on air from time to time.

 I’m a die-hard Royals and Chiefs fan, and spend WAY too much time playing fantasy football. I’m pretty sure the Star Wars tattoo on my arm solidifies my geek cred, and I’ve got a head full of useless knowledge when it comes to movies, tv, and music!
