Have you noticed that we seem to always try to stay BUSY?!?! It seems like a "Badge of Honor" that we always have something that we have to do. We seem to whip out our smart phones to brag about our jam packed calendar. Do we think that being busy makes us more popular or successful? Will us "always having something to do" lead to being more productive? The answers to those questions vary depending on who you ask.
Some might say that those folks that are always busy and on the go are on the brink of burning out. The concept of "Slow Living" is starting to pick up a little steam on social media. Over three million folks on Instagram are starting us use #TheArtOfSlowLiving and talk about "me time" and saying "no" sometimes. Rather than checking stuff of our "to do lists," fans of "Slow Living" say that life is better if we just let it happen and appreciate it as it comes.

It's unclear if the pandemic had anything to do with "slow living" becoming a thing, but it certainly made us slow down and look our lives.
Very few can argue that slowing down and taking time to "smell the flowers" can be a good thing. But this #TheArtOfSlowLiving thing might be something to look into.
