Not An Introvert Nor An Extrovert?

Do you consider yourself an introvert, or an extrovert? For years and years we've focused on the opposite ends of the spectrum. Now, social behavioral scientists, phycologists, an business managers are saying that there is an overlooked category called "Ambivert." Which is right down the middle of the introvert and extrovert. An ambivert is
• Pretty flexible socially — they can be comfortable in the social scene or being alone on the couch in your jammies.
• Good at communicating — knows when to talk...AND when to listen.
• Moderate in mood — not overly reserved and withdrawn but not overly expressive either.
• Able to Adapt — they have no default mode, so it's fairly easy to change their approach to fit their situation

Recent research by Adam Grant of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Management has found that ambiverts make great salespeople because They know when to push and when to hold back.
