Independence Day Celebrations in the Mid-South 2024

It’s time to gather up the family and head to your local park or community center for this year’s Independence Day celebrations! If you are ready for live music, good food, family fun and fireworks, here's where to see the biggest and best shows across the Mid-South!

Arlington’s Star Spangled Spectacular (June 28th) Arlington, TN  Star Spangled Spectacular at Arlington Sports Complex (6pm-9:30pm) with live music from Big Wheel, Food Trucks and Fireworks Show!


Millington Parks and Recreation Department's annual fireworks display (July 2). Celebrate the spirit of community and the thrill of fireworks at the City of Millington celebrates Independence day! Gates open at 6 PM, with fireworks beginning at sundown. Parking will be $5 per vehicle. Enjoy an evening filled with music by Sherry Oke, food and beverage concessions (available for purchase), and a kid zone with inflatables. Entry will be located at Jack Huffman and Newport, and parking will be $5 per vehicle.

Bartlett Fireworks Extravaganza! (July 3) Bobby K. Flaherty Municipal Center (Event starts at 6pm, Fireworks 9:10pm) with live music from Bartlett Community Concert Band and  Kevin and Bethany Paige before the fireworks show in Bartlett.

Munford's Celebrate Independence (July 3rd) Festivities will start at 4 PM in the Downtown Munford/Poplar Park area. Food booths will be parked around downtown Munford and in Poplar Park. There will be a kids area with bounce houses, etc in the city park by the police department. Downtown Munford merchants will be open extended hours to give away goodies and offer great deals. Fireworks scheduled at dark can be seen from downtown and Poplar Park.

Collierville Independence Day Celebration! (July 3), celebrate together at HW Cox Park (440 W Powell Road).Food vendors open at 6pm followed by live entertainment at 7pm and a fireworks grand finale at 9:30pm. Alexis Jade & the Gemstones will start the show, followed by the Soul Shockers performing a mix of classic 60's Motown, 70's funk, and today's top dance hits.The highlight of the event will be Collierville’s 18-minute fireworks show, one of the largest in the mid-south! The rain date is Thursday, July 4.


Liberty Park Festival and Fireworks: Memphis, TN (July 3) Stars & Stripes 5K starts at 4pm followed by LIBERTY FOR ALL festival and fireworks show.  Food trucks, family fun, live music and fireworks at 9pm by Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium (335 S. Hollywood)  Liberty Park festival and fireworks

Graceland’s All American Weekend (July 4-6, 2024) Highlights of the weekend include the Salute to Memphis Music Concert on July 5, followed by the All-American Party & Fireworks Extravaganza celebrating 70 years of "That's All Right"!

Cooper Young 4th of July Parade (2024)  (July 4th) Join the Cooper-Young Community Association for a VERY CHILL 4th of July block party and mini parade around the block! Bring your kiddos, their little wheels, and we'll enjoy frozen treats, music, face-painting, and a special appearance by the Memphis Fire Department and one another's company while celebrating this Cooper-Young summer tradition. Starts at 10am at Peabody Elementary.

Germantown Fireworks Extravaganza Germantown, TN (July 4th) Municipal Park 1900 S. Germantown Rd.  Fun and food begin at 5 p.m., fireworks at 9:10 p.m. Celebrate the nation’s birthday with live music from Truck Patch Revival, moon bounces, games, crafts, refreshments and a spectacular fireworks display. No rain date.
