Alison has two dogs. They’re from the same litter, but they’re getting old. One of the dogs got really sick recently, and they have to put him down. The second dog isn’t showing any medical problems, but just seems down. She’s worried that the second dog will literally die of heart break once the first one gets put down…so would it be better to put them both down? Letting them go at the same time seems like it could be better for not only the dogs, but for their family. What should Alison do?
