Colin and Hailey are married and have an 11-year-old dog, Rocky. Rocky has lost control of his bowels, can’t keep a lot of his food down, and has arthritis. Colin and Hailey have spent a lot of money to try and help improve Rocky’s health, and they eased the pain a little, but overall didn’t improve his health. Colin wants to continue to pay for treatments every month for Rocky, and doesn’t want to give up on him. Hailey loves Rocky too, but Colin is gone all the time so she’s the only one taking care of Rocky, which means Colin doesn’t see the real “sick” side of Rocky.
