During her show at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale on December 13, Eilish was sitting cross-legged on the stage while performing her hit, “What Was I Made For?” when an object resembling a blue bracelet struck her in the face.

The 22-year-old flinched and immediately turned her head away before looking down and seeing the object. After skipping a few lines of the song, she hopped right back in before picking up the bracelet and flicking it off to the side.

Throwing objects on stage during shows has become an issue over the past few years with many turning dangerous.

Just last year, Eilish weighed in on the issue telling The Hollywood Reporter, “People just get excited, and it can be dangerous.”

After sharing she was no stranger to being struck while on stage she added, “It’s absolutely infuriating when you’re up there. I have mixed feelings about it because when you’re up there, it blows. But you know it’s out of love, and they’re just trying to give you something. You’re in a vulnerable position, but I’ve been getting hit with stuff for years.”
