BJ and Jamie - Should this Southwest passenger be mad??

A Southwest passenger was banned from getting on a flight because she was told she needed to buy an extra seat for $450! She asked if she could try and fit in the seat to see if that was necessary and was told no. Does she have a right to be mad??
