George Clooney may be ready to become the eighth member of BTS.
The Oscar winner channeled his inner boy bander to perform a lyrical improv of the super group’s blockbuster hit “Dynamite.”
And while the A-list actor didn’t sing the track, he gave a dramatic reading of the lyrics that could rival any Shakespearean soliloquy.
"Hello, I'm Brad Pitt," Clooney deadpans in the black and white clip. "And I'm going to read 'Dynamite' by BTS."
He gives a mostly stoic reading of the lyrics, occasionally adding commentary as he appears to not be at all familiar with the song.
One of the highlights is when he adds his own rhythm to the repetitious “Dy-na-na-na, na-na, na-na” section of the song. He’s a natural!
No word on what Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, or Jungkook think of Clooney’s cover.
While a Grammy may not be in his immediate future, the Hollywood vet is set to hit the big screen with one of his good friends and former co-stars.
On Friday, it was announced the 59-year-old would be reteaming with fellow Oscar winner Julia Roberts in a new rom-com.
Entitled “Ticket to Paradise,” the film will tell the story of a divorced couple who travel to Bali to stop their daughter from making the same mistake they made 25 years prior.
The duo have worked together on-screen in "Ocean’s Eleven", "Ocean’s Twelve" and "Money Monster.” They also collaborated as actor and director in "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind", and as actor and producer "August: Osage County.”
Another Clooney/Roberts film sounds like it’s going to light it up like dynamite.
