During his performance on stage in Perth, Australia, Styles gave the shoey a whirl and thanks to social media, we can all witness the life-changing moment. “This is one of the most disgusting traditions I’ve ever [heard of],” Styles can be heard saying in a fan-captured video as he holds his alcohol-filled Adidas shoe.
“I feel like a different person,” he laughed after completing the tradition that is said to bring good fortune. “I feel ashamed of myself. It feels so personal! Such an intimate moment to be shared with so many people… I’ll be discussing this with my therapist at length. At length!”
While Harry jokingly questioned his decision following the big moment, this is just further proof to us that the 29-year-old is charming no matter what he does… yes, even chugging out of a shoe.
