During his recent appearance on The Late Late Show’s Carpool Karaoke, James Corden had a special surprise for Lil Nas X that involved some big “bold and beautiful” plans for the small screen.

In between blasting some of the singer’s most undeniable bangers, Lil Nas switched things up talking in a British accent, which James noted was actually quite good. After asking him if he “wants to do some acting in his life?,” Lil Nas admitted it was something he was interested in. To his surprise, James had something in store.
“I’ve actually lined something up,” James revealed, asking LNX if he’d ever seen The Bold and The Beautiful.
Once on set, Nas was given the role of waiter with a total of 9 lines, while Corden wasn't even given a script or character and told he’ll “be in the background” as the “bus boy,” which wasn’t entirely happy about (all jokes of course).
The duo then changed into their costumes and walked around the set. Stumbling across a prison set in which they recreated some of the prison scene choreography from Nas's number one single “INDUSTRY BABY.”
Once James and Lil Nas were given their direction and it was time to call action, that's when hilarity truly ensued. In the scene, Lil Nas was meant to pour water for the main characters, however, he and Corden could not contain their laughter to some of the more dramatic plot points in the scene.
