Disney unveils new Pride Collection with all proceeds supporting LGBTQ+ charities

In honor of Pride Month 2022, the Walt Disney Company has launched a new line of merchandise honoring the LGBTQ+ community.
Previously known as the Rainbow Collection, this year the media giant rebranded the line as the Disney Pride Collection. In addition to offering up Mickey Mouse, "Star Wars," Pixar and Marvel items, Disney announced 100% of the proceeds from the Pride Collection will go towards supporting LGBTQIA+ youth and families.

The US organizations receiving the proceeds include GLSEN, PFLAG, The Trevor Project, Zebra Coalition, Los Angeles LGBT Center, LGBT Center Orange County, San Francisco LGBT Center and Ali Forney Center.
According to Disney, the Pride Collection was “dreamed up and designed by members and allies of the community, for members and allies of the community.”
