Rapper and songwriter Post Malone began teasing some brand new music this week, finally revealing what he's got in store for fans following up his 2019 chart-topper Hollywood’s Bleeding.

Late last week, Post Malone gave fans some sonic teases of his upcoming Twelve Carat Toothache album in an Instagram Live, promising his "One Right Now" partner The Weeknd will appear on the new offering featuring a total of 14 tracks as well as "the most incredible and beautiful and most talented," Doja Cat. Before giving followers a taste of his collab "Happy" with Doja, Malone said he felt "so blessed and so honoured to be able to have worked with her."
"There’s a lot to it and I really bled my f***ing heart and my f***ing soul into it and everything into it," Malone added during the stream. The new record, scheduled for release in May 2022, will also include guest appearances from The Kid LAROI, Roddy Ricch, and his pal Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes -- "the most beautiful f***ing vocalist, the most epic f***ing guy,” says Posty.
This collaboration is a full-circle moment of sorts, as fans will remember back in 2015 that Malone said, "If you don’t like Fleet Foxes, then f*** you," following that bold statement by saying they're the only band he loves "every single song of."
Although Malone was invited to be a part of the last Fleet Foxes release, time constraints prevented the two from coming together. "He'll text me every once in a while and it's always a really fun thing to receive," Robin told Audacy in 2020. "To have that pop up in my iMessages, it always feels like a glitch in the Matrix or something."
"He's a super sweet guy, he's a real gentleman, and he's probably the best melody writer in the business right now. I think," Robin added, "and by some glitch in the Matrix, we have a casual friendship."
