The reissue of Fush Yu Mang will arrive just over two months after the sudden passing of Smash Mouth singer Steve Harwell in September 2023, paying homage to the friendship and storied careers they all shared over three decades together.
The band went double-platinum with their 1997 debut, bringing the San Jose, CA-based pop-punkers to the forefront of pop culture with instant hits like “Walkin’ on the Sun,” and their ska cover of War’s “Why Can’t We Be Friends.” Now, the record will receive a widespread LP release for the first time, on strawberry colored with black swirl vinyl, complete with an inner sleeve featuring all of the album's lyrics.
