Exclusively for Record Store Day this year, a split 12-inch vinyl will be offered up featuring Paramore’s recent version of “Burning Down the House,” recorded for the Everyone’s Getting Involved: A Tribute to Talking Heads’ Stop Making Sense tribute album in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Talking Heads’ concert documentary of the same name, as well as David Byrne’s new cover of Paramore’s 2017 After Laughter single, “Hard Times.”

Paramore's Hayley Williams recently teased the Byrne cover on social media saying, “All I’m going to say is it’s f***ing insane. It’s incredible. It’s unreal." While Byrne himself added, “The band told me that their song ‘Hard Times’ was inspired by Talking Heads, so I learned it and recorded my version of their great song with a horn section. This was fun!”

Also on the menu from both artists on RDS 2024 is an exclusive vinyl pressing of Paramore's remix album, Re: This is Why. as well as the first-time offering of Talking Heads' complete 1977 radio performance at WCOZ.
