Arriving today, the first day of Winter -- December 21 -- Weezer (Rivers Cuomo, Brian Bell, Scott Shriner, and Pat Wilson) have officially dropped the final piece of their SZNZ EP project Winter featuring seven all-new tracks including the previously released single, "I Want A Dog." Along with the release, the band has also offered up a "remedy for your seasonal depression," in the form of a new music video directed by Peter Quinn for their song "Dark Enough To See The Stars."

According to the band’s press release, SZNZ: Winter was initially meant to be stripped back and acoustic but evolved with producers Suzy Shinn and James Flanigan into more of “an amalgamation of everything Weezer fans have loved from the band’s current decade of work.” Winter, along with the other three EPs released this year, "ultimately creates a spectacular whole in bringing the ‘SZNZ’ project to a close. When listening to all four in a row, it’s undeniable that 'SZNZ' features some of the most inspired, inventive songs within the Weezer discography.”
