Seattle grunge icons Alice In Chains decided to get hyper-literal with the 30th-anniversary vinyl release of their 1994 album, Jar Of Flies.

As you can see in the post below, Alice In Chains' limited to 150 copies 30th anniversary edition vinyl reissue of their 1994 album Jar Of Flies came fully loaded with actual dead flies embedded in the wax, giving fans who were quick enough to scoop them up for a little over $100 a truly unique listening experience.
Created by Indianapolis-based vinyl company Romanus Records, a rep for the company, Chris Banta, explained in a Facebook post how "it was actually pretty difficult to get a hold of real dead flies," for the special release, adding that he plans to have video and "more behind the scenes content to come."

Alice In Chains are set to headline the upcoming 2024 edition of the Sick New World festival taking place at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds on April 27, 2024, along with System of a Down, Slipknot, A Perfect Circle, Bring Me the Horizon, and Danny Elfman.
