The San Diego County Fair is the greatest story our community has ever told. It’s a tale of food, fun, friends, family, laughter, tradition, music, amazement, and pure, unbridled joy. The Fair—the biggest and longest-running event in San Diego County—makes its triumphant return from Wednesday, June 10, through Sunday, July 5, 2026 (closed Mondays and Tuesdays).
This year, Once Upon A Fair invites our Fair fanatics to write a new chapter: one about the narratives that shaped us, the simple pleasures of good books, the power of storytelling, and all the magic found between the lines.

For the San Diego County Fair on-air text contest, listen to the Station starting at approximately 12:00am PT on Saturday, June 6, 2026 and ending at approximately 11:30pm PT on Sunday, June 7, 2026 for the code word to text. Then text the code word as it is disclosed on-air to 20357 to be entered for a chance to win the prize. Entrants may enter one (1) time per unique code word. Up to five (5) winners will, upon confirmation of eligibility, receive four (4) GA tickets to the San Diego County Fair at Del Mar Fairgrounds June 10-July 5, 2026 (closed Mondays and Tuesdays).
