Defence of the Realm Act - Just as much history lesson as it is a refreshing beer! Today Mike introduces us into his Defence of the Realm Act London Brown Ale that has a crazy history he reflects in his modern day version.

The Edwin Fox English IPA - Our history lesson in beer continues but today is special since we're tasting the style of beer that kicked off a cultural movement in San Diego, English IPA. This historic beer also has a very cool story behind the name that you should probably listen to!

Sawmill Steam - California Common - Despite one of the most famous producers of this style of beer going out of business, The California Common was one of the first styles of beer that was uniquely Californian. Barley and Sword pay homage to that OG brewery and beer style with their Sawmill Steam beer.

Chasing the Muse West Coast IPA - It's San Diego history in a glass, brewed in conjunction with Ballast Point. Barley and Sword crafted their West Coast IPA reflect how we've come from the English IPA and have crafted something truly out own.
