The excitement began after first posting a tease that something is scheduled to happen from the group on April 18 and May 30.
Immediately after, the social accounts for Catherine Wheel, perhaps best known for their 1992 single "Black Metallic," have been set ablaze with fans wondering if indeed a full reunion is happening, including possibly a tour.
We'll be keeping an eye on the feed as the days creep closer. In the meantime, check out Audacy's 90s and Chill Radio featuring the best tracks from Catherine Wheel, Portishead, Massive Attack, Mazzy Star, Tricky, Sneaker Pimps, and much more.
UPDATE: "Available 18 April, for the first time WITHOUT a RECORD PLAYER! She's My Friend EP, the very first recordings, mixed in Norfolk in 1991. Streaming worldwide along with Painful Thing EP, coming 30 May."
