Machine Gun Kelly has made good on his promise to return to the rap game. After pivoting to Pop-Punk for two albums, on his latest single, “PRESSURE,” MGK is fully stepping into his rap bag, rapping about feeling misunderstood and his desire to be legendary.

“Everything’s destined, it was inevitable I take on his aggression,” he raps. “Mad at the world ’cause I’m feelin’ rejected / Guess that I gotta die to be a legend.”
MGK continues to boast about his legacy, doubling down on his successes thus far, mentioning how he's gone from a low-key life in Cleveland, Ohio to headlining gigs at big-name arenas. “I just made the hardest s*** I ever heard right now,” he raps. “Wait a minute, look where I was and where I’m at right now / In a plane with no passengers in it, over Cleveland, ’bout to touch down.”
In the song’s accompanying Sam Cahill-directed music video, Kelly’s bestie Pete Davidson makes a cameo, as well as former World of Dance champions Elevated Crew.
Earlier this month, the rapper released “Doja Freestyle” and “Renegade Freestyle,” nearly back-to-back. The latter of which took aim at Jack Harlow for declaring himself the best white rapper since Eminem.
