(95.7 The Game) -- Amid all the pre-agency speculation, conjecture and supposition about Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson, the fact that Draymond Green is set to embark on his final season has gone largely unmentioned.
According to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne and Brian Windhorst, the groundwork for extending the union could soon be laid:
"Green has expressed an interest in landing a new deal with the Warriors in the past, and he is open to a new deal this summer, sources said. Talks are expected to take place later in the offseason."
Those talks promise to be noteworthy as Green, set to play the final year of his 5-year, $82 million pact, shifted his representative to Rich Paul, the founder of Klutch Sports Group and LeBron James' ?minence grise, in March.
