NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The New York City retail outpost of Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop brand was robbed of a very pricey purse last Thursday, the NYPD announced today.

"A 35-year-old female store employee discovered store merchandise missing and contacted police," the NYPD said in a press release. "Subsequent investigation determined that earlier that same day at approximately (3:52 p.m.) an unknown male individual did enter the location and removed a purse worth approximately $23,000."

The individual then fled westbound towards Lafayette Street.

The suspect is described as a black man between 20 and 30 years old. He was last seen wearing all dark clothing, the police said.

The store, which carries merchandise that meshes with Paltrow's beauty, wellness and lifestyle brand is located at 25 Bond Street in the NoHo neighborhood.
