Hillary Clinton on Tuesday endorsed presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, saying she was "thrilled" to be part of his campaign.
The 2016 Democratic presidential nominee threw her support behind Biden during his town hall Tuesday afternoon.
“It’s a real pleasure to be here with you and to be part of this very important discussion," Clinton said. "I am thrilled to be part of your campaign, to not only endorse you, but to help highlight a lot of the issues that are at stake in this presidential election."
Biden, meanwhile, called Clinton the woman who “should be president of the United States right now.”
Clinton announced that she would appear on the town hall in a tweet earlier on Tuesday.
"A little hint about who the surprise guest will be for @JoeBiden's 3pm ET town hall today," Clinton posted on Twitter. "(She's excited.)"
Biden retweeted Clinton's tweet, adding "(I'm with her.)"
