Jessica Simpson Proudly Shows in Photo What ‘Success Feels Like’ For a Mom


Two weeks after giving birth, Jessica Simpson is celebrating the triumphs of having a newborn baby.

The 38-year-old, who welcomed daughter Birdie on March 19, shared a photo of a full, five-ounce bottle of breast milk to show off her successful pumping efforts.

“This is what success feels like,” Simpson captioned the picture.

Baby Birdie is the star’s third child with husband Eric Johnson. The couple are also parents to six-year-old daughter Maxwell and five-year-old son Ace.One day after their most recent bundle of joy’s arrival, shared the news on Instagram. 

"We are so happy and proud to announce the birth of our perfect daughter, Birdie Mae Johnson," the Dukes of Hazzard star wrote. “3.19.19. 10 Pounds 13 Ounces."

While she was pregnant, Simpson had been very open about suffering from swollen ankles, bronchitis and sciatica pain during the pregnancy.

So, it’s nice to see she’s recovered and enjoying the joys of motherhood with little Birdie.
