3.4 Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Detroit

(WWJ) After people all over metro Detroit reported feeling the ground shake, it's been confirmed that there was an earthquake Friday in metro Detroit.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the 3.4 magnitude was recorded at 6:55 p.m., a little less than 2 miles south-southeast of Detroit Beach, an unincorporated community in Monroe County 

Mostly it was felt around the Monroe area and Downriver.
