Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - A Las Vegas man who was arrested for child abuse after his daughter died in a hot car earlier this week is free after posting bail.
A judge on Thursday set Sidney Deal’s bail at $20,000. Once Deal was able to post bail, the judge put on on house arrest. He’ll be back in court in December.
Deal’s 22-month-old daughter died after investigators say she was left inside a car near H and Owens for close to an hour.
Deal told police that he thought he had left the a.c. on with the car was running when going up to a nearby apartment. Those on scene say Deal refused to have one of his car windows broken because the car was new, and that the price a locksmith quoted him to unlock the car doors was too expensive.
