A Sheetz in Lynchburg, Virginia gave eight-year-old Dylan LaMotte a gift he'll remember forever.
LaMotte is a super fan of the restaurant chain and goes there every day with his mother to get his favorite order: slushies and fries.
On a normal visit, he will also wave to a picture of Sheetz co-founder Steve Sheetz that is hanging on the wall.
His mother, Tiffanie McGregor, posted a video to her Facebook of her son receiving a "Youngest Sheetz Employee" shirt along with a hat and nametag.
LaMotte says he's helped call order numbers and gave customers their food for about a week. He loved every second of it and hopes to one day become a full time employee at Sheetz.
The company noticed his dedication and decided to surprise their youngest Sheetz Freak.
On Thursday, Steve Sheetz welcomed LaMotte to the store and made him the official youngest employee ever.
The biggest gift was yet to come. Steve Sheetz then gifted the young fan with a gift card for $5,000 and free slushies for the rest of his childhood.
LaMotte jumped, screamed, and hugged the co-founder while McGregor teared up saying it was the gift of his dreams.
Surely, a gift that will keep on giving and a day that the family will never forget.
