The National Hurricane Center now predicts both Marco and Laura will hit Southeast Louisiana.
A hurricane watch is now up from the middle of Louisiana through all of Mississippi.
"A Hurricane Watch has been issued from Intracoastal City Louisiana eastward to the Mississippi/Alabama border, including Lake Pontchartrain, Lake Maurepas, and Metropolitan New Orleans," the Hurricane Center advises.

A dramatic shift in the forecast track for Marco now calls for a landfall in Plaquemines Parish and into New Orleans as a hurricane on Monday afternoon.
The Hurricane Center says that Laura's track also shifted dramatcially and that it will also be a hurricane and hit near Houma on Wednesday.
If this forecast holds, the systems will come ashore about 50 miles apart one after the other on Monday and Wednesday... both as hurricanes.

The Hurricane Center continues to say that they are not sure that these forecasts will hold. More big changes are possible.
"The details of the long-range track and intensity forecasts remain uncertain," forecaster advised.
