Krispy Kreme Launches Conversation Doughnuts After Sweethearts Candy Company Closes


CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Tell your valentine how you feel this year with a doughnut! 

Following the announcement of a conversation heart candy shortage, Krispy Kreme announced the debut of heart-shaped 'conversation doughnuts' for Valentines day. 

“Finding the right word can be like, I don’t know….hard. But eating a doughnut is easy. So, we printed the right words on the doughnuts for you so you can’t mess this up,” said Dave Skena, Chief Marketing Officer for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, in a statement.

The new Valentine's Day conversation doughnuts will be available Jan. 30 through Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14 at participating Krispy Kreme shops across the U.S. They are topped with more than a dozen edible phrases, including “DM ME,” “ALL THE FEELS,” “BE MINE,” "LOVE," "SO EXTRA," "PICKE ME," 'CRAZY 4 U" and more.

And to make the holiday even sweeter, the doughnuts feature four Krispy Kreme classic fillings – Cake Batter, Strawberries & KREME™, Raspberry Filled and Chocolate KREME™ Filled.
